Types of commercial carpet

Commercial grade carpet - uses the same fibres as regular carpet, but the carpet is engineered and constructed with the commercial end user in mind. The carpet is manufactured to take a greater amount of foot traffic than domestic grade carpet.

Commercial grade carpet tiles - are best used in situations where flexibility is required. Apart from their distinctive look, carpet tiles can easily be replaced when damaged or soiled.

Flotex - is completely waterproof and highly stain-resistant. It has the feel of carpet, with the easy-to-clean qualities of vinyl. It is used often in nursing homes and schools.

Needle Punch - is a durable and extra hard-wearing non-woven carpet, which has been "needled" to form a tight fibre matrix and bonded with latex backing. It is available in a range of colours and styles, and is suitable for applications such as schools, retail shops, offices and other institutions.
